Deltamatch values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are

2. What data we process
Candidates
- Name, address, town, date of birth, nationality
- Contact details (phone, email)
- CV data: education, work experience, skills, languages
- Data needed for the employment contract: BSN (Dutch citizen service number), ID document, bank account number
- Notes from intake conversations
Employers
- Company name, business address, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number
- Contact details of your representative (name, role, phone, email)
- Information about the open role and your organisation
Visitors of this website
- We do not place tracking cookies and do not use any analytics tools.
- A functional localStorage flag remembers whether you closed the cookie banner.
3. Why we process this data
We process your personal data only for the following purposes:
- Matching candidates with open roles at employers where they fit.
- Drafting and executing staffing or placement agreements.
- Meeting our administrative, fiscal and labour-law obligations.
- Communication about open roles, applications and placements.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on:
- Performance of a contract (candidate or employer agreement).
- Legal obligation (payroll administration, identification, taxes).
- Legitimate interest (matching candidates with vacancies, communicating with employers).
- Consent where legally required (for example to share your CV with a specific employer).
5. Retention periods
- CV data of active candidates: up to 4 weeks after last contact, unless you give consent for a longer period (max. 2 years).
- Payroll and fiscal data: 7 years (statutory retention period).
- Identification data (copy of ID): 5 years after the end of employment.
- Communication with employers: as long as the relationship runs, plus a maximum of 2 years after.
6. With whom we share data
We share your data only when necessary, with:
- Employers you apply to (only after your explicit consent).
- Our payroll, pension and accounting providers.
- The Dutch tax authorities, UWV and other government bodies when legally required.
- IT vendors that run our system and hosting, under a data processing agreement.
We never sell data to third parties.
7. Cookies
Deltamatch uses only functional cookies and localStorage. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies. See our cookie statement for details.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, access control and periodic audits of our systems.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold on you (right of access).
- Have inaccurate data corrected (right of rectification).
- Have data erased (right to be forgotten).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a structured format (right of portability).
- Withdraw consent at any time.

10. Filing a complaint
If you disagree with how we handle your data you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Deltamatch may update this statement. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the most recent change at the top.
